Protecting Child Artists: Transparency, Safeguarding, and Why We Are Selective About Every Partner

When children's creativity meets commercial scale, safeguarding cannot be an afterthought. Here is how IV Studio protects young artists, why our partnership process is deliberately selective, and how transparency became one of our biggest competitive assets.

Protection is the product

Children's artwork is not a stock library. Behind every piece is a young person whose consent, dignity, likeness, and long-term interests need to be protected before, during, and after a commercial release. That is why IV Studio operates under a written safeguarding framework, governed by Desert Sun Investments LLC and reviewed against the standards laid out by UNICEF's Child Safeguarding Toolkit for Business and the Children's Rights and Business Principles.

In practice that means guardian-informed consent for every use, licensing terms that keep authorship with the young creator, no exploitative imagery, no likeness use without approval, and a clear off-ramp if a family ever wants their child's work withdrawn from a campaign.

Why we are selective about who we work with

Not every check clears our values review. Partners are vetted against a short list of non-negotiables: no products that target children with age-inappropriate messaging, no partners with active safeguarding controversies, no campaigns that would extract from the young creator rather than elevate them, and no arrangement that would compromise the mental health mission that funds these programs in the first place.

That selectivity is deliberate. It is why corporate partners who do clear the review can stand behind the collaboration publicly, and why families trust us with their children's work.

Transparency is a competitive asset

Our fiscal routing is documented on request. Percentage of net proceeds, definition of net proceeds, nonprofit fiscal framework, and reporting cadence are all disclosed to corporate partners and foundation underwriters. Grant officers can request control documentation, partner lists, and budget on record.

The reason we publish this openly is simple: transparency is what allows a purpose-driven design studio to operate at enterprise scale without being asked to prove itself twice. The receipts are already on the table.

What partnership actually looks like

When a brand collaborates with IV Studio, they are entering a supplier relationship that is mission-locked and safeguard-first. They receive premium visual assets built to engage the next generation, a contractually documented youth mental health contribution, and a story their employees and customers can verify without a press release.

That is the framework. Consistent across every page, every deal, and every campaign. It is how we operate.
